Well, the big dope was happy enough yesterday, what with Spurs clinching at least 4th place in the Premiership, thus ensuring their presence in at least a qualifying tie for the Champions League this summer. Spurs can still finish 3rd if the Arseholes lose (not likely) and Spurs win (likely). If they finish 3rd, they progress straight to the Champions League and Arsenal would have to qualify.
Here are a few views of the touch that clinched it:
The goal was the immediate result of a shot that was deflected poorly by the keeper (who had played a great game and did well to hold Spurs to only one goal) directly onto the head of Peter Crouch. Crouch made no mistake, having missed wide earlier, and sent the faithful Yiddos into throes of ecstasy with his 83rd minute goal. A demoralized City squad could barely finish the game and Spurs nearly went up two moments later.
Who will Harry buy to shore up the club for an assault on Europe? Time will tell.
For those of you checking in for more pictures of me...tough. Maybe later.
